Educational Cooperation with Industrial and Technical College in Shymkent
Turqua Group visited Industrial and Technical College in Shymkent as part of its education program in Kazakhstan. A seminar held with students pursuing vocational and technical education introduced higher education opportunities in Türkiye.
Alongside students’ educational options, the visit addressed the development of relations between the institutions. Following discussions with the college administration, a cooperation agreement was signed.
Exploring Higher Education After Vocational Studies
The seminar, delivered by our Chair of the Board, Nagehan Yanaz, focused on helping students in vocational and technical education explore higher education opportunities in Türkiye. Students received information about studying in Türkiye, including the educational opportunities offered by Istanbul Nişantaşı University.
Learning about educational options in different countries is valuable when planning the next steps after vocational studies. The gathering aimed to help students consider their current education alongside their future goals.
Direct Information About University Education in Türkiye
The seminar at Industrial and Technical College provided an opportunity to connect directly with young people considering studying in Türkiye. Its central focus was to present higher education opportunities in relation to students’ own educational plans.

Throughout our Kazakhstan program, we met with students at different educational institutions to introduce higher education opportunities in Türkiye. Our visit to Industrial and Technical College in Shymkent was one of the occasions on which we connected with young people pursuing vocational and technical education.
