A Meeting Bringing Together Educational and Cultural Ties in Baku

During Turqua Group’s visit to Baku, a meeting was held with Ms. Sabina Salmanova, Member of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan. Bringing together representatives from the education sector, the gathering reflected the longstanding bonds of friendship and fraternity between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.

Participants included Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komşuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu, Rector of Istanbul Nişantaşı University; Dr. Ecmel Ayral, Member of the University’s Board of Trustees; Nagehan Yanaz, Chair of the Board of Turqua Group; and Sedef Ünlü Guliyeva and Abdurrahman Çalışkan, Founders of Azeredu–Mentora College.

The Human and Cultural Dimensions of Educational Relations

The shared history and culture of Türkiye and Azerbaijan provide a strong foundation for educational relations between the two countries. Alongside initiatives that support students’ educational journeys, maintaining communication among the individuals and institutions contributing to these efforts is equally valuable.

The gathering in Baku provided a welcome opportunity to strengthen mutual acquaintance and dialogue.

Lasting Relationships and Mutual Trust

At Turqua Group, we value both institutional cooperation and the trust built among the people who contribute to international education. As we work to strengthen educational and cultural ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, we remain committed to sustaining relationships grounded in mutual understanding.

We thank Ms. Sabina Salmanova for joining us and for the warm conversation, and extend our appreciation to all participants for their presence.
